I love how music can immerse you into a realm outside of reality.
Who I am:
I’m a composer/sound designer in my 3rd year at the University of Technology Sydney's Bachelor of Music and Sound Design. I've been playing the piano for over 15 years, and composing for over 7. Musicians such as John Powell, Ludovico Einaudi, Yasunori Nishiki and Kevin Penkin have influenced and will forever inspire me.
I've always wanted to become a film/VGM composer, but after discovering how much fun & innovative field recording foley/SFX is, I've had a new burst of passion, realising that even a cow moo can be mixed and modified into a creative leviathan roar. I’ve created music + sounds for a video game showcased in SXSW and am currently in an internship with UTS Animal Logic Academy. I love dissecting the sound design of every video game & film I can get my hands on because after all, while curiosity kills the cat it makes the human being even stronger.
The combination of sound with picture creates an intertwined medium of storytelling that can touch your heart. My goal is to leave you with a memory, a part of our soul that can carry on and make you smile.
Music is feeling, and feeling is human.
